Carnival Conquest arrives in Fort Lauderdale later this month! The ship will run six-day and eight-day Caribbean cruises out of Port Everglades through the 2016 season.
Carnival Conquest will ply the Caribbean more than 50 times in 2015. Itineraries will rotate among eastern, western and southern routes. All southern-route trips – and most eastern-route trips – are for eight days. Most western-route voyages last six days.
The ship is a great choice for families with kids. Carnival Conquest includes four pools, a water park with a twisting water slide and an outdoor theater. The ship also boasts eight lounges, seven Jacuzzis, three restaurants and a spa.
The ship was launched in 2002, then refurbished in 2012. The 13-deck cruise ship holds 2,984 passengers, who are supported by 1,150 crew members.
In other cruise news, the cruise ship Costa Deliziosa begins cruising the Caribbean from Port Everglades during the winter season. The 2,826-passenger ship will set sail in December on voyages of 10 days or longer.
The ship’s debut in Fort Lauderdale will mark the first time a vessel from Costa Cruises sails from Port Everglades since 2011. The ship, which was launched in 2010, contains 11 bars, four restaurants and three pools. Onboard entertainment options include a 4-D cinema, Grand Prix simulators, golf simulators and a putting green.
